The Night Watchman is a position responsible for conducting routine patrols to secure the premises, buildings, plants and property of the company. This position monitors entrances/exits and ensures only authorized vehicles and personnel are present.
This position documents and notifies management of any property damage, theft, or presence of any unauthorized vehicles/personnel. This position is not an armed position nor is authorized in any way to have firearms while on duty.

Essential Functions
•Conducts routine patrols of buildings and property and grounds, checking doors and windows for security.
•Perform routine monitoring of entrances/exits and ensuring only authorized vehicles and personnel are present.
•Documents any occurrences and notifies management of any property damage, theft, or presence of unauthorized vehicles/personnel.
•Ability to handle emergency situations and possess good positive interpersonal and written communication skills.
•Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations while in regulated areas.
•Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Ability to have good night vision
Must be able to drive a vehicle in and around machinery and at night safely
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Previous experience as security or night watchman preferred, but not required—entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Must have and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license with no restrictions driving at night
• Ability to work in an outdoor/indoor environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
