Freres Engineered Wood is the industry leader in the production of high quality veneer for the manufacture of plywood and engineered wood products.
We also produce and sell a variety of wood by-products derived from our primary manufacturing processes including small dimension lumber as well as wood residuals such as chips, shavings, sawdust, and bark dust.
Mass Ply
Mass Ply is Freres Wood’s flagship product line, available for all structural elements of a building including columns, beams, and large-format CLT panels. Mass Ply panels are structural composite lumber-based panels certified as cross laminated timber (CLT) under PRG-320 by the APA.
Veneer
The vast majority of the veneer that we manufacture is made from Douglas Fir due to the high quality of the species’ wood fiber.
Plywood
Freres is an industry leader in the production of high-quality panel products including sheathing-grade plywood, sanded plywood, and custom panel configurations.
Lumber
Our primary lumber products are variations of 2×3 through 4×6 dimensions in softwood species such as Douglas Fir or Hemlock.
Ag Products
In keeping with Freres Wood’s zero-waste manufacturing practices, we supply a wide range of agricultural products to local farms and businesses, including softwood chips, sawdust, bark dust, and carbon-rich biochar.
