Each year, we get the opportunity to show our appreciation to customers and friends at the Ted Freres Classic Sporting Clay Invitational. August 23, 2019 marked the eleventh annual celebration as we gathered at Mid Valley Clays and Shooting School in Gervais. This event brings together many of our friends to celebrate the relationships we have fostered over many years. We are grateful for these lasting relationships, as well as new ones we are cultivating as we look to the future.
Veneer, plywood, residuals and Mass Ply Panel customers gathered to share a delicious BBQ lunch, a bright afternoon of sporting clays, and an evening of grand stories of scores that could have been.
This event is one way for us to show our appreciation and gratitude to the many people and companies that have contributed to the success of Freres Lumber Co. The Ted Freres Classic is a small token of our esteem for the many partners we have in the wood products industry.
A spirit of competition remained strong during the Classic Sporting Clay Invitational. Bragging rights for the 2019 TFCSCI go to winner Tristan Wampole from Kraemer Farms with a score of 69. Second place belongs to Barry Greathead from Eugene Forest Products with a score of 68 and in third, Jason Jones from Boise Cascade with a score of 67. Nice shooting, men!
Many thanks to those who were able to attend; it was a fantastic way to close out the summer!
