Freres Lumber Company will soon be celebrating 100 years of doing business in the Pacific Northwest, and with that exciting benchmark comes changes that will pave the way for our company to continue its role as a timber industry leader worldwide!
Beginning as a horse logging and lumber production company in 1922, Freres Lumber moved quickly to adopt new milling technologies and strategies that made sense for our business, our clients’ businesses and forest sustainability in the Santiam region. Our product line has grown to include plywood, the entire spectrum of residual products, finished wood products that go straight to end-users, and high-quality veneer products for customers throughout the West Coast. And in our bid to support our state’s green power initiatives we’ve even become part of the Oregon electrical grid!
The times keep changing and Freres Lumber continues to evolve with them, including reaching out to you through our social media networks. Freres Lumber Company would like to invite all of you to join us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and here on our company blog to find regular updates about our company, its operations, and the news affecting our business and the forests of the Santiam Canyon at the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range.
As the dawn of another century begins for our company, we are excited about the relationships we have built within the Freres Lumber team, with our business partners and the people of the communities where we live, work and play. Please join us by subscribing to receive weekly updates from the Freres Lumber Company blog!
We’ll send you a notification when a new story has been posted. It’s the easiest way to stay in the know.
