Dump Truck Driver/Road Building Crew

Dump Truck Driver reports to the Road Building Manager and is responsible for building and maintaining forest roads on federal, state and private timberlands. This position requires a Class A CDL.

Essential Functions

• Driving a dump truck as well as additional equipment
• Driving a water truck
• Run a front-end loader (Cat-950, Cat-966, etc. )
• Operating a vibratory roller
• Operating fire trucks, slash burning and mop up
• General labor
• Daily maintenance checks on equipment
• Must have ability to work long days, driving safely in all road and weather conditions, including many remote work locations
• Work is weather dependent

Other Responsibilities

Responsibilities are not limited to the above-mentioned and may include assisting other branches within reasonable and related tasks. This position will be filled as soon as the qualified applicant is available, and when job is offered, dependent upon background check, valid CDL License, pass a drug test and any other requirements for the position.

Qualifications

  • Class A CDL Required
