The Utility – Summer Intern position provides general support for maintenance and upkeep of Plant 3. This role is responsible for assisting with facility improvements, general labor tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Interns will work under direct supervision and gain valuable hands-on experience in an industrial setting, with additional work opportunities in the Fabrication and Machine Shop for both positions.

Essential Functions
- Perform general maintenance duties, including painting, cleaning, and organizing workspaces.
- Operate basic equipment such as pressure washers and weed trimmers to maintain facility grounds.
- Assist with landscaping duties such as weeding, debris removal, and general upkeep of Facility.
- Support cleaning efforts inside the facility, including sweeping, power washing, and debris removal.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed by supervisors and plant personnel.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling in various work environments.
- Exposure to outdoor elements, including heat, dust, and uneven terrain.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
